The city of St Asaph is surrounded by countryside and views of the Vale of Clwyd. It is situated close to a number of busy coastal towns such as Rhyl, Prestatyn, Abergele, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. The historic castles of Denbigh and Rhuddlan are also nearby. I met my grandfather's old friends and their families. They all treated me with great respect and as one of their own. Every year in September the North Wales International Music Festival is held there. The North Wales International Music Festival is a classical music festival founded by William Mathias in 1972 and held annually in St Asaph Cathedral in north Wales. William Mathias was Artistic Director of the Festival for twenty years. He was followed by Geraint Lewis and the role is currently held by Ann Atkinson. The Festival is an eight-day event. It was a great memory to attend this festival. It was very enjoyable. I want to really appreciate the company for their services for making my journey comfortable.
